Who are we?
Lochcarron of Scotland manufacturer prestigious woven fabrics and accessories, as well as bespoke highlander wear, knitwear and soft furnishings, all designed and made in the Scottish Borders towns of Selkirk, Hawick and Langholm. Lochcarron is the world’s leading tartan manufacturer, supplying from stock several hundred authentic Scottish tartans. From this extensive portfolio of fabrics, we can offer everything from cloth by the yard through to made to measure tailored goods and a full compliment of stock supported accessories including Tartan Ties, Scarves and Throws. In addition, a luxurious collection of knitted or woven scarves and accessories for womenswear and menswear is available in a superb irresistible range of fibres from the cashmere nobles to the finest quality merino, lamora and lambswool. For the home we have created a range of blanket throws in cashmere, mohair and wool. We also carry picnic rugs for the great outdoors. At Lochcarron, we also offer a full in-house design service, including CAD programmes. These facilities allow us to offer two woven collections each year with the main collection aimed at the autumn/winter season and the smaller collection aimed at transition. This heritage of producing authentic tartans is always at the core of our collections. Combined with other fabrics that are true to current trends we maintain a balance that offers wide appeal. Over the years we have formed strong relationships with our key international clients to allow us to react quickly to their needs and develop programmes tailored to their individual requirements.
